Interesting facts

From: Chris Holm (cholm@dcn.davis.ca.us) | Date: 2002-12-14 11:30:17 UTC-08:00
I usually do not read all of the Letterbox e-mails because the letterboxes
are not in my area but I found myself reading the one about the number of
letterboxes in different states. I was sad to see that anyone would spend
energy putting down someone who would take the time researching this.

The Golden rule with an on-line group should be, take what you want and
leave the rest! No negative comments. If there should be a negative comment
go with the second rule, do not respond, do not give it attention.

The e-mail was thought provoking. I wondered why some states had so many
opposed to where I live in California there are so few, that was it.
My guess is they have their priorities straight. Not that letterboxing is
Life but that they have enough time on their hands to enjoy such an
adventure. I'd be interested to find out how they structure or conduct
their daily life in those states.

Thanks for listening, Chris

We work all winter during the snow season and carve!  LOL  We've already had two storms this year, and it isn't even Christmas yet! (sigh)  In Connecticut, we are kind of shut in for four months, then get to plant our boxes in the spring.  The carving keeps us sane while the cabin fever sets in.  LOL
